I lived in the south for quite a while. This is one of my favorite dishes, at times we lived on it. Hard to come by good Andouille sausage out here in California I'm afraid. I've been ordering it on the Internet. I'm not an okra fan either, I know, I know, very unpopular to say, but it still tastes like wallpaper paste to me. Fried, whatever, same taste, same texture. Going to try this recipe, however, looks great. Mine has always been heavy on the cumin. Caraway seeds are interesting. Have to try that.

In Virginia...my tomatoes were awesome tho many strangely shaped. Bell peppers beautiful. Hot peppers still haven' t produced..? And fall cabbage has something eating the leaves. Had trouble with that with beans too. Would the neems oil work on all that? Never have seen a bug...just the holes in the leaves. Lutie...if you're reading these posts, tell us about drenching.

Huge link below Ren.........I tried to post it on Twitter for your question on what's happening to your pepper plants...Twitter was bonkers. So came over here. Don't know if this is the exact thing or similar. We pulled all of our pepper plants...picked every pepper off no matter the size, pulled the plants and got rid of them. Some type of wilt...possible fusarium. We weren't the only ones with it. Our tomato plants were having same thing. They are now pulled out to be burned. The constant rains this summer have caused many an issue in the garden this summer. Hope this helps you or gets you on the right track. Or maybe you've found out already!
