On my patio, that is..
This a journal describing my efforts to eat a healthy, interesting diet on a reasonable budget. The focus here is primarily on sustainable, fresh whole foods.
No professional photographers or copy writers, nothing for sale, no paid product reviews. Just me, an iron skillet and a cheap camera.
Eat as if your life depends on it!

a little anole, perhaps? i have one of those…and a tiny broadhead lizard and a few baby blue tail skinks! i love them, but think they may be the culprits eating my strawberries…

It could be a green anole. Anoles and skinks are both considered as garden beneficials, as they eat lots of bugs.

Cute, but not nearly as discreet and camouflaged as the big green cricket you posted a while back :)

True, that guy was cloaked like a Romulan warship. Everybody loves my potted basil :)

Gorgeous! And that’s just the basil… Boy, I can’t wait to plant my spring/summer herbs, not long now – I could start today but I’m about to shoot off overseas for a couple of weeks, and I like being on deck to nurture my seedlings. Meanwhile, last year’s mint had all but died, and lo and behold it’s starting to sprout tasty new season leaves! And my chives just refuse to die, they’ve hung on all year, and I have naught use for them! Basil, however, I put in EVERYTHING. Plus it allows me to buy the love of my guinea pigs, whom otherwise remain aloof. They’d be very envious of your little green fellow were I to show them this pic :)

No, not that I’ve seen. Going to release 1,500 ladybugs later this week anyway :)
